Attention all museum lovers! On Sep. 23, you’ll have the opportunity to visit one of the many great Kansas museums for free, thanks to Smithsonian magazine.

Through a joint sponsorship with Smithsonian magazine and Microsoft, Museum Day Live! is an “annual celebration of boundless curiosity.” It offers anyone with a valid email address free admission for two guests to over 15 different Kansas museums, on September 23.

Some of the museums included in the free admission are:

These are only 15 of the 19 Kansas museums available for free admission, each of which offers a full day’s worth of exhibits and fun. Simply enter your full name, email address, and location in this online form, then choose the participating venue that you wish to attend. At that point, you will be redirected to a link containing a PDF that allows you and a guest to attend your selected venue for free.

While the ticket doesn’t cover any IMAX presentations or special paid-attendance events at participating locations, there are no strings attached to the free admission offer.

Tickets are available for museums in states across the country as well, so if there’s a museum outside of Kansas that you’re interested in checking out, you can check out the Museum Day Live! venues here.

Which Kansas museum are you most interested in checking out? Are there any museums that Smithsonian left off the list that you wish were included? Sound off in the comments section below!
